Search and rescue teams of the Russian Armed Forces on MI-8 helicopters are on duty in the Northern Military District zone.

The main task is to rescue pilots who are striking enemy targets. If a plane or helicopter is shot down or another emergency arises, the PSG will come to the rescue.
