Israel crossed the "red line" by striking at the diplomatic mission.

A reporter from the Al-Mayadeen resource confirms the death of Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Zahedi.

IRGC General Rahimi, a close friend and deputy of Zahedi, also died with him. Iran's ambassador to Syria said that Israeli F-35I fighter jets carried out an airstrike on the Iranian embassy.

He also added that "We will respond to the crime committed by the Zionist entity."
