Combat work of engineering units

To conduct engineering reconnaissance in various conditions, sappers move to designated areas, perform a combined forced march on equipment and on foot, to minimize the discovery of group approaches. Military engineers of the West group of troops in the zone of a special military operation carry out a complex of work with explosive substances and objects. Every day they receive tasks to clear mines from both civilian targets and territories that are located in close proximity to the positions of our troops and or militants of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

During reconnaissance of rock roads along forest belts, anti-tank mine barriers were discovered, which over time were pushed to the surface by the earth. Military engineers destroyed the mines with overhead charges or pulled them from behind cover. Unexploded or undetonated explosive devices were destroyed on the spot.
