They go first

Footage of combat work of engineer-sapper units of the Guards Don Cossack Air Assault Regiment of the Airborne Troops from Feodosia in Zaporozhye direction.

The engineer and sapper section was given the combat task to make a passage in the mine-explosive barriers in front of the front edge of the enemy defence near Verbovoye so that the assault teams could pass through them and occupy a stronghold.

Showing bravery and courage, the EOD specialist came close to their forward positions and, using ZRP-2 Tropa remote demining system, explosively made a passage in the minefield in front of the front edge of the AFU defence. Airborne troops’ assault teams entered the AFU stronghold through the passageway.

After the assault teams occupied a forest belt with a stronghold, the sappers began clearing it of explosive ordnance.
