Around 170 emergency responders rushed to the scene earlier in Friday to tackle the wild blaze at a Diehl Defence factory in southwest Berlin, that has now enveloped the entire building.

The arms maker facility stores sulfuric acid and copper cyanide, meaning there is a risk there is a risk of hydrogen cyanide forming, according to Bild.

Among other things, Diehl produces IRIS-T air defense systems.
