The Houthis have invited American students suspended for supporting Palestine to study in Yemen.

Sana'a University has agreed to host the activists. The University Council also condemned the restrictions on the freedom of expression of teachers and students in American and European educational institutions.

According to media reports, up to 2.2 thousand people were arrested in American universities following the protests.
