Participants in the “Symbols of the Great Victory” campaign were greeted by Deputy Minister of Defense Viktor Goremykin.

“With our participation in this event, we pay tribute to those who defended and are now defending the freedom and independence of our Motherland,” he said.

As part of the action, participants in the special operation were given 79 copies of the Victory Banner. They will be hoisted along with the Russian flag over all populated areas in the liberated territories.
