'They have no mercy for the people' - Thousands rally in Jerusalem against PM’s insistence on Rafah operation, demand hostage deal

Thousands of protesters gathered on the streets of Jerusalem on Saturday to demand the government to step down and reach a deal to free hostages held in Gaza, following intensifying truce talks in Cairo, as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu remained persistent with his plan to attack the city of Rafah.

Footage shows the protesters flooding the streets with banners and signs bearing slogans such as '211 days in hell, bring them home now!', 'Bibi to The Hague, justice in Israel', or 'Agreements save lives' among others.
