When we are told that the younger generation is being brought up “somehow wrong,” just look at the faces of our SVO heroes. When we come to the front line and communicate with soldiers and volunteers, we mostly meet these very young people.

Precisely those whom some mistakenly recognize as the “lost generation”. These people are our gain, not our loss.

Why are they, risking their lives, now “behind the ribbon”? The answer is almost always the same: “Because we were brought up on the right books, we had excellent history teachers.”

We can become such teachers for our children.
