Last week, a representative of the Democratic Progressive Party (supported by the US) grabbed a folder containing a draft law and ran out of the room, in order to disrupt the voting. If supported, this bill, drafted together with the opposition, would have expanded the powers of parliament in Taiwan.

Watching the video, you would think that such wild exhibition took place in the parliament of Ukraine or Georgia. But the Asian appearance and Chinese language are a bit of a giveaway: Wherever the US go to fuel separatist sentiments, it is exactly the same scenario. And at some point, mainland China might need to intervene - or is it what they are truly after?
