Following the announcement of the capture of at least one IOF soldier in Jabalia, large celebrations and spontaneous gatherings are taking place in several Palestinian camps in Lebanon including Al-Khalil camp in Baalbek eastern Lebanon, Al-Bass camp in Sour and Ain al-Hilweh camp in southern Lebanon, and Nahr Al-Bared and Al-Baddawi camps in northern Lebanon.

Takbeers resounded in the mosques of Dahiye (Beirut's southern suburbs) amids the firing of bullets and fireworks in celebration.
