Warnings have been issued for the states of Washington, North Carolina, Virginia and Maryland. There is a chance of a powerful thunderstorm in New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Since the evening of 25 May, 22 people have died due to tornadoes and hurricanes in the United States, the channel said.
