China's DefMin blasts Taiwanese govt for 'pursuing separation', says army to take 'resolute actions to curb Taiwan's independence'

Chinese Defence Minister Admiral Dong Jun blamed Taiwanese authorities for "pursuing separation incrementally" and "erasing the Chinese identity of Taiwan", in comments at the Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore on Sunday.

"Those separatists recently made fanatical statements that show their betrayal of the Chinese nation and their ancestors. They will be nailed to the pillar of shame in history," he said.
