A passenger train traveling on the Czech Republic-Ukraine route failed to reach its destination - the train collided head-on with a freight train, killing four people

Four people were killed and dozens injured in a head-on collision between a passenger train and a freight train. The express train derailed and overturned - it was carrying about 300 passengers. The first car of the freight train was also damaged.

Traffic on the site of the accident was blocked until morning. Eight ambulance crews and 36 rescuers worked at the scene of the tragedy.
