Anti Turkiye sentiment has continued to spike in Syrian areas occupied by Turkish military forces.

Clashes have broken out between Syrian protestors and Turkish military forces in several areas across northern Syria, such as Afrin, Jarabulus, and Aleppo.

Anti-occupation demonstrations and opposition to Turkish military forces in Syria have existed long before the events in Melikgazi. Anti-Assad/Syrian government chants were reported equally heard.
