June 2024 has become the hottest June on Earth in history

The temperature in June broke the record: the month became the hottest in the history of weather observations for the Northern Hemisphere, and for the Earth as a whole, said the scientific head of the Russian Hydrometeorological Centre Roman Vilfand.

It is also noted that the average sea surface temperature in June was 20.85°C. This is the highest value for the entire period of observations.
