There are hundreds of traditional monasteries where parents send their daughters in order to appease spirits when one of their relatives is sick. Girls are not allowed to leave the monasteries; they must wear traditional clothes and speak the local language. It's almost impossible to get the child back as the monasteries demand a hue ransom.
