In the republic, 9 people were detained for fraud in the sale of non-existent cars and drones for the Armed Forces of Ukraine for more than 46 million hryvnia, the Kiev City Prosecutor’s Office reports.

️ The scheme was invented by two families of refugees from the Odessa region. They posted advertisements for the sale of cars and drones from abroad, allegedly for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The criminals asked for an advance payment and then disappeared.

️ There were 67 such episodes in total. The scammers used the stolen money to buy gold jewelry and luxury cars - an entire fleet of vehicles was arrested (photo). Now Ukrainians face from 28 to 43 years in prison.
