Gennadiy Voronov, call sign Fedorovich, 66 years old and one of the oldest fighters of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, who voluntarily joined them in 2023, died and was posthumously nominated for the Order of Courage.

Gennadiy Voronov was the commander of a transport vehicle that constantly traveled to the front lines. He survived 67 drone strikes, but the 68th drone strike was fatal for him.
