️Special forces killed four inmates in Penal Colony No. 19 near the city of Volgograd and freed the hostages, the Russian National Guard said.

“Snipers from the Russian National Guard special units based in the Volgograd Region fired four precise shots to neutralize four inmates, who took some of the colony’s staff hostage,” the agency said in a statement. “The hostages have been released.”
