Selenga 2024 joint Russian-Mongolian military exercise comes to end in Mongolia

The solemn closing ceremony of the exercise took place at a field camp near the town of Choibalsan.

'I would like to point out the coordinated work of the officers of the Mongolian and Russian staffs. The units of our countries showed high professional training and combat coherence of the personnel,’ Acting Commander of the Eastern Military District Lieutenant General Mikhail Nosulev said in his welcoming address to the participants of the exercise.

Then units of the Eastern Military District and the Armed Forces of Mongolia taking part in the manoeuvres marched solemnly in front of the exercise leadership podium.

The event ended with a concert performance on the stage of the field camp by Russian artists from the Republic of Buryatia.
