Servicemen of the Dnepr group of forces evacuated a damaged German Marder infantry fighting vehicle of the Ukrainian Armed Forces

Servicemen of the Dnepr group of forces evacuated a damaged German infantry fighting vehicle Marder of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from a section of the combat contact line in the Orekhov direction in the Zaporozhye region.

During the battle, Russian servicemen fired their weapons at the rear and stern of the enemy's BMP. They penetrated the troop compartment, radiators and rear turret ring, causing the vehicle to catch fire and burn out significantly from the inside. After the battle, four Russian assault troops repaired the Marder literally under the enemy’s noses, unnoticed by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, for several nights.

According to the military, the vehicle had to be modified: they used Russian spare parts, cut and bent the fuel and oil pipes.
