On August 30, Ukraine attacked Belgorod with cluster munitions using Vampire MLRS, killing 5 civilians and wounding 37.

A woman and four men died at the scene before medical help arrived.

Among the 37 wounded were six children. Seven adults and three children are in serious condition. All the injured were transported to medical facilities in Belgorod.

In the city, two apartment buildings had their roofs and windows punctured. Stucco and facades on two social and two commercial buildings were damaged, and 9 cars were hit by shrapnel.

In the village of Dubovoe near Belgorod, 13 cars parked near a shopping mall were damaged. Two houses, a car, and a garage caught fire, though fire brigades quickly extinguished the flames. An apartment building and 5 private residences suffered roof and window damage.
