AfD politician pushed aside over anti-migrant shooting range TikTok
Hesse politician Maximilian Muger was removed from several positions after posting a social media video of himself holding a high-powered rifle.
In the video, he says, “What I'm missing here are Afro-Arab immigrants,” before firing the gun at the shooting range. Then Muger calls for "free weapons for free citizens!" and shoots three times in the air.
The TikTok, posted shortly after a deadly knife attack in Solingen, was later deleted.
Muger has resigned from the Hessian state parliament's interior committee, the AfD's youth organization, and other local leadership posts.
