- "It took smart ideas. Maybe they're not perfect," he said in an interview with US television channel NBC

- The Ukrainian armed forces needed to make an unconventional move to compensate for the shortcomings of Western supplies, especially on artillery shells.

   "Because we didn't have the same weapons packages. At one point in this supply hole we had weapon utilization of 1 in 12 on artillery shells. It doesn't matter how many people you have standing there, if they have 12 shells you have 1, you're just going to have more people standing there and more people are going to die. And that's why you have to think some smart ideas. Maybe they are not perfect (Maybe they were not perfect - Ed.)" - said Zelensky.

- According to him, Ukraine's offensive in the Kursk region forced Russia to pull 60,000 troops from other parts of the front.
