Boeing’s Starliner returning to Earth unmanned after botched rescue mission
The spacecraft undocked from the International Space Station and is returning to Earth after a three-month mission without a crew.
The autonomous undocking marks the end of a delayed mission, originally intended to carry American astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams back to Earth in June.
Following a series of malfunctions, NASA opted for an unmanned return in early September, with the astronauts now scheduled to return on SpaceX's Crew Dragon in February 2025.
If it’s Boeing, we ain’t _.
