TODAY MARKS THE OPENING SUNDAY GAME DAY OF THE NFL SEASON

Using American football as an analogy for the SU-35 versus F-16 debate,I’d like to compare and contrast Patrick Mahomes (the SU-35) with Dan Marino (the F-16).

In his time, Dan Marino was one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game. But he has no place on the gridiron today. He wouldn’t survive the first series of downs.

Patrick Mahomes is a two-time Super Bowl champion, positioning he and his team for a third run at the title.

He belongs on the field.

Ukraine’s aging F-16 didn’t survive its first combat mission.

The SU-35 dominates the skies surrounding Ukraine.

We can appreciate the former skill of Dan Marino.

But in a head-to-head match today, Patrick Mahomes wins every time.

So, too, would the SU-35 over the F-16.
