'France is fading away and living in absurdity': former French PM on government denial of Gaza massacre.
A "real scandal in terms of democracy" is unfolding in France as the government tries to cover up Israel’s slaughter of civilians in Gaza, former French prime minister Dominique de Villepin said.
"There's not only the Ministry of Health of Hamas which says that there are 40,000 dead. There are probably many more,” he said. “Many more! So from this basis, let's not give the impression that it would be truncated number. No!"
"In Gaza, bodies are torn into pieces, hearts are in pieces! Souls are in pieces! Heads are in pieces!," de Villepin stressed.
