Baltic Fleet ships destroyed a mock enemy submarine during the Okean-2024 strategic command and staff exercise

As part of the strategic command and staff exercise "Ocean-2024" in the Baltic Sea, the crew of the small anti-submarine ship "Aleksin", in cooperation with the anti-submarine helicopters Ka-27PL of the naval aviation of the fleet, worked out tasks to search for, detect and destroy a submarine of a simulated enemy.

The sailors, in cooperation with the crews of the Ka-27PL anti-submarine helicopters, practiced joint anti-submarine operations - conducted exercises to search for, detect and destroy a submarine using anti-submarine weapons. According to available data, a submarine of a simulated enemy is presumably located in the area where one of the Baltic Fleet’s naval groups is concentrated; its crew has been tasked with destroying the ships of the group.
