Hezbollah confirms death of senior commander in Beirut - statement

Lebanese Shia movement Hezbollah said on Wednesday that its senior commander Ibrahim Muhammad Qubaisi was killed in an Israeli strike on a southern suburb of Beirut.

"It is with great honor and sadness that we announce the death of Commander Ibrahim Muhammad Qubaisi," the movement said in a statement.
