Bosnian professional footballer Miralem Pjanic, a former player of Roma and Juventus, as well as Barcelona, has successfully passed a medical examination before moving to CSKA, he told TASS. The footballer arrived in Russia early on Wednesday.

"This is a big club, and I am convinced that we can do great things here. I think the level of the Russian Premier League is high, there are good teams and good players, so I am happy to join it,” Pjanic said.

The footballer also responded to a question about his expectations about Moscow and Russia. “I played here [in this city] two times,” he said, adding: “So I am really happy to be here.”
