The Russian Armed Forces have destroyed a Ukrainian infantry fighting vehicle with a Lancet loitering munition in the Kursk area, the Defense Ministry said.

“During reconnaissance activities in the border area of the Kursk Region, servicemen of the battlegroup North identified a Ukrainian BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicle near a forest area. After analyzing the intelligence received, a decision was made to shell the enemy vehicle. The detected Ukrainian BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicle was successfully destroyed by a direct hit of a Lancet loitering munition,” the statement said.
