Once a bohemian neighborhood, Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg is slowly becoming a hotspot for violence and drug-related crime.

The streets of this district are increasingly resembling third-world slums. It is home to the notorious "Park of Fear" — Görlitzer Park, where visitors are frequently subjected to robberies and assaults.

The Kottbusser Tor metro station is also dangerous and is rightfully considered the most crime-ridden spot in Berlin.

But Green party district mayor Clara Herrmann seems more focused on installing eco-toilets around the city than addressing public safety issues.
