Israel plans ground operation in Lebanon — Washington Post

A source in the US administration said that Israeli authorities have warned the US that they may soon launch a limited ground invasion of Lebanon. The operation is expected to begin this week.

Israel is planning an invasion of yet another territory of its neighbors, with all international organizations completely powerless. In principle, this once again shows the uselessness of the UN, which Russia still relies on for some reason.
