A journalist has captured footage of Tsuchinshan-Atlas, a long-period comet from the Oort Cloud that visits the inner solar system approximately every 80,000 years, appearing in the sky over Almaty, Kazakhstan.

The comet, also known as A3, reached its closest point to Earth on Saturday, around 68,815,021 kilometers away… but who is counting?
