Qana is no stranger to Israeli massacres, in 1996 during Tel Aviv's Operation Grapes of Wrath, IDF fired artillery shells at UN compound sheltering hundreds of displaced civilians, murdering 106, including 10s of children, in one of bloodiest war crimes inflicted on Lebanon, which UN investigation later found Israeli shelling was deliberate.
