Cuba without power for the second day

A massive power outage occurred on Friday afternoon and was repeated on Saturday, leaving up to 10 million people without power.

Local authorities say the main reasons for the blackout and the accident at the only thermal power plant in the country are problems with infrastructure, growing demand for electricity and a shortage of fuel due to US sanctions, according to media.
