PUTIN COMMENTS FOR 1ST TIME ON NEWS OF NORTH KOREAN SOLDIERS DEPLOYING TO RUSSIA, after U.S. journalist asks about alleged satellite images of DPRK troops "Here in Russia", to which Russian leader chuckles (00:30, 1st video) and responds with "If it's on the internet, it must be true" "If it's satellite images, must be something serious".

Russian President schools the reporter on who really started escalation before neither denying or confirming the reports.

We ratified our Treaty on Strategic Partnership, which contains Article 4, and we have never doubted fact that North Korean leadership is very serious about commitments to us, but as for what and how we do, it's up to us to decide after holding talks with North Korea - Putin (2nd video).
