Pro-Palestine group steals bust of Israel’s first president

On the anniversary of the Balfour Declaration, a pro-Palestinian group called Action Palestine carried out coordinated attacks against pro-Israeli organizations in Britain.

The group claims the attacks were a symbolic repudiation of the 1917 Balfour Declaration, which promised a “national home for the Jewish people” in Palestine.

In one incident, the group stole two busts of Chaim Weizmann, Israel’s first president, from the University of Manchester.
