'The relationship between the NSA and Israel's Unit 8200 is the closest foreign relationship that the NSA has. The NSA has an officer embedded in Unit 8200 and Unit 8200 has a liaison officer embedded within the NSA.

...The Israelis were pressing the NSA to get geolocation data of people they were attempting to assassinate...

The NSA liaison officer pushed back saying that under US law, we are not allowed to give you information that will be used to assassinate somebody.

Another document came back saying that the Israeli Unit 8200 had worked out a cooperative agreement to overcome that problem. The NSA gave the information they needed to help with the assassinations and that probably is still going on today.'"
