THROWBACK: Putin calls Trump “not a product of the American establishment”
 
"I believe that the former US President, Mr. Trump, is an outstanding, talented person. Otherwise, he would not have become the President of the United States," Russian President Vladimir Putin said during an interview with NBC in 2021.
 
He added that Trump is “not a product of the American establishment” and he has never been “part of big politics before.”
