"In case of war with Russia": British and Estonian military blows up bridge in Tallinn

The Kanama Bridge was blown up on the night of 13 November to "practice creating barriers against Russia" and "build a new viaduct that would be able to withstand NATO tanks", Delfi and Postimees reported.

️ The local dept. of transport said the destruction of the bridge was also necessary because it would make it possible to "gather knowledge" and conduct "training on how to create barriers in case of war with Russia."

? The "EU Military Stability Fund" will pay for the construction of the new viaduct. The organisation will give half of the money for the new tank-proof bridge. The total cost of the project is €14 million.
