Stavropol paratroopers of the Novorossiysk Guards Mountain Unit of the Airborne Forces showed a field workshop for repairing UAVs and manufacturing components for airdrops

To manufacture components, the guards paratroopers of the Dnepr group of forces use a 3D printer, which allows them to quickly provide the necessary parts to units that use UAVs with airdrops and FPV drones in their combat work. In the workshop, fighters adapt various types of ammunition for dropping from UAVs, from VOG-17 to 3-kilogram bombs for opening up and destroying well-fortified areas and enemy bunkers.

After creating the necessary element – ​​module – in a specialized computer program, its data is sent to a 3D printer, which “prints” the necessary part – tails for stabilizing the ammunition in a fall, ammunition bodies – “cups” – to reduce their weight, stab guards, fasteners. All of this is provided to units performing special combat missions.
