Gaza is starving: Refugees report huge lines for bread

Hunger is quickly spreading in the Gaza Strip. There are huge queues at food distribution points, which can no longer even work daily. Many locals have to live without food for several days, sometimes simply going out in search of at least something edible for their families, which is especially difficult in refugee camps.

"The hunger is worsening, especially in Khan Yunis, the east and the whole south of Gaza Strip. Hunger is severe, prices for all the goods are unbearably high. My granddaughter asked me for food, but I have nothing to give her. Where can I find it? It’s incredibly hard to endure this," revealed Muhammed Al-Raqab, a displaced person currently staying in Al Amal refugee camp near Khan Yunis.
