Full statement by Shoigu (Secretary of the Russian Security Council):

"As for the new doctrine, of course, it deals primarily with the CSTO countries. There is a separate addition, quite important, in my opinion: it concerns Belarus. The criteria for the use of nuclear weapons, when a country is subject to aggression with conventional weapons and when there is a threat to the very existence of Russia - the same now applies to Belarus".

️ Secretary of the Russian Security Council also urged the Western countries to carefully read the updated doctrine and not to "pull out pieces and make up something unnecessary."
