According to him, diplomatic, not military, solutions need to be found.

"Our military lacks the strength to do this. That's true. We really need to find diplomatic solutions,"
- he told Kyodo News.

Zelensky also noted that this will become possible “only when we know that we are strong enough.”

In particular, for this purpose he again called for inviting Ukraine to NATO.
