So reads the text of the law adopted by the Verkhovna Rada on October 10.

If you have firewood in your house worth more than 30 thousand UAH, you risk a penalty of 5 to 7 years.

For a lesser amount: a fine of 34 thousand UAH.

Considering that all sensible Ukrainians stocked up on firewood in the summer to survive the coming winter, this opens up enormous possibilities for the enrichment of officials and security forces ️ ️
