FBI Director wants to resign before Trump gets to him - reports

Christopher Wray plans to resign on or before Inauguration Day because he doesn't want to be fired by President-elect Donald Trump, the Washington Times reported, citing sources inside the bureau.

Previously, Donald Trump said he was "very unhappy with the things [Christopher Wray] has done."

"I have a lot of respect for the FBI, but the FBI's respect has gone way down over the last number of years," Trump added.
