State Department urges Georgian government to 'reverse' foreign agents bill passed

"There is still time for the Georgian government to reverse the trajectory, that is on. This is not just applying to this law that they passed. This replies to the way they have been cracking down on decent. It applies to the statements their leaders have made rejecting their path that Georgia has been on for so long," Miller said.

Earlier, a U.S. State Department spokesman announced the imposition of sanctions on dozens of Georgian officials.
